This facility has been updated in some ways from a more rustic original. It worked just fine as a base for our visit to the area in general. We did find that it was entirely too easy to trip the electric breaker in the room by running more than one higher-draw electrical device at the same time. The first time we did this, we had to wait on a staff member to reset the breaker and restore the electricity. After that, I learned where the breaker was (in an unlocked box near the rear of the building, not far from our door) and reset it myself. Not sure that this is good for a public facility, but it was easier to reset the breaker myself than to wait on staff to help.
Basically, it's an OK place to use as a base. Clearly, the owners are absentee, at least in the fall season, and the managers/staff did a good job but were hired hands.
