Great place to stay! Breathtaking view!

Parking and check in was really easy, the view was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and there was an awesome taco truck in the parking lot (i highly recommend the quesabirria tacos and the birria ramen!). The room was clean. Overall, everything was perfect!

Lone Eagle was relatively basic but cost effective. It’s location is excellent for access to downtown Grad Lakes and the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Clean facility that is dated but in great condition.

Great location. Clean and quiet room. Fantastic tacos at the food truck out front. I really wish they did not put that plug in air freshner in our room. Took me hours to discover the cause of the very strong fragrance. Opened the windows and then it was too cold. Not enough blankets.

Good location in the heart of Grand Lake, with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Rooms appear to have been recently upgraded and the overall condition of the room was excellent. Staff was friendly, not much as far as amenities. Enjoyed our stay but likely would choose a lower priced alternative on our next visit.

For a little old motel, I didn’t expect much. But the room was really nice inside. It seemed to have been recently renovated. And it was VERY clean!

Great place for one night cut my leg on the bed that had sharp edges
Thomas, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Lighting was a little strange, no bedside lights. They emailed us a code to use to open the room door but it did not work. Had to get another code. Friendly, however. Electric receptacle in bathroom did not work, would not reset. Had to plug in elsewhere to dry hair. Shower would benefit from grab bars.

This is a cute place and I like the rooms. However, this place does not have AC, so be ok with open windows or a fan (provided). Also our sink was clogged. Shower is single person size, but water pressure was great!

Works as an adequate base for a stay in the area.

This facility has been updated in some ways from a more rustic original. It worked just fine as a base for our visit to the area in general. We did find that it was entirely too easy to trip the electric breaker in the room by running more than one higher-draw electrical device at the same time. The first time we did this, we had to wait on a staff member to reset the breaker and restore the electricity. After that, I learned where the breaker was (in an unlocked box near the rear of the building, not far from our door) and reset it myself. Not sure that this is good for a public facility, but it was easier to reset the breaker myself than to wait on staff to help. Basically, it's an OK place to use as a base. Clearly, the owners are absentee, at least in the fall season, and the managers/staff did a good job but were hired hands.
