Friendly and helpful staff, smooth and quick check-in, nice room, comfortable bed, and to my daughter's delight, a bathtub in the bathroom. The breakfast was really nice too. Quite a bit of variety, but not too much. Location was excellent. Tram just outside the door, U-bahn stations within a few minute's walk. Perfect location to reach Max Schmelling Halle, really nice restaurants nearby. We'll be back.

Everyone of the staff was great and very accommodating. Breakfast was super that fueled me all day long. They keep their place clean. The area is very walkable, near the tram, métro station, restaurants, coffee shops and stores. I would like to offer a suggestion to not let guests smoke outside within 20' from the entrance; however there's a table outside & an ashtray or container where people extinguish their cigarettes. I think, that area can be misconstrued as a smoking area. Besides that, I enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend them.

Only a lowish rating as we paid for 3 nights but only stayed 1.5 and there was no refund/change despite asking in advance not hotel fault apparently but I dont see how a hotel is at mercy to a booking site. This is an amazing hotel. All the staff are welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable. We had a shower in our room, which had bodywash/shampoo in a bottle as well as soap in a bottle by the sink. The room is cleaned on a daily basis. The lift is controlled by your room key, which means no unauthorized people can use it. The hotel is perfectly situated for public transport. The hotel has a room available to store luggage if your room is not ready,or if you are leaving later after checking out, which reception have access to and give you a baggage tag. Breakfast is very nice and has a good range of food. I thoroughly recommend staying here when you visit Berlin

Loud street and very hot rooms in weather

1. This hotel is located on a very very busy street, trams stopping every ten minutes ringing their bells, cars and lorries drive resk fast, ambulances have their sirens on. Also: its badly isolated to neighboring rooms, you hear housekeeping early in the nornung, slamming doors and moving furniture, and you hear neighbours partying late at night - morning. 2.The rooms get extremely hot because of the sun and no air conditioning and since the street is so noisy (and sometimes smelly) opening the windows is also annoying and you just cannot relax. Apart from that the location in Berlin is great, easy to get around, goid communications, goid supermarket, small shops and trendy restaurants nearby, also fast food, its a historically nteresting neighborhood just at the former Berlin war. Housekeeping was good. Breakfast was ok, with a great sweet homemade cake every day - and easy to get a table, also friendly efficient staff. The staff overall was friendly and good. The elevator was sometimes strange but worked. But sorry to say, I would never recommend it.
