The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner the Hotel restaurant . The view from the patio when you’re having cocktails was spectacular and when you would order drinks they bring you little appetizers to enjoy . This was our second hotel in Taormina and it blew our first one away for the same price. The room was well designed and contemporary, and the amenities were first rate. There was a large terrace off the Lobby with a bar and amazing views over the water, another one floor down for breakfast, and another two floors down with a good size infinity edge pool. All of this combined with the central location make this hotel an excellent choice.

Metropole is the best hotel in Taormina both when it comes to location and it has the best view at Breakfast and when you swim in the pool. Service is excellent and both food and drinks are amazing. Giuseppe in the pool Bar and Restaurant, what a legend and provide you with excellent service. Choose this hotel and you will not be disappointed that's an guarantee.

Really upsetting that a 5 star hotel doesn’t give the guests the ability to work their AC. They said that they weren’t allowed to activate the AC unit the end of the month. Told them they should have put that as a disclaimer when booking the room. The night before we left, AC was activated, so only got one night of sleep on the entire trip because the other nights were like sleeping in a sauna. No apology or any kind of hospitable offer to make it right.
