Good location and friendly staff!

The location is really good, which is 18 min from Firenze S.M.N Station by walk and close to most tourist attractions. You can go everywhere just by walk. It's also surrounded by many good cafes, bars, restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. Anyway, it's really nice stay in Florence!

Disgusting, save your money and go somewhere else

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot into. Nothing like the photos at all and the room was covered in mold. We walked in and immediately walked out due to health concerns. Had to book another hotel for the night and the hotel refused to give us our money back. Not to mention that there isn't a reception or anyone on site, and they didn't give us the door code ahead of time so we were stuck outside for almost an hour trying to contact them (without having a cell phone since we're international guests). Luckily Hotels.com was able to answer the chat really quickly and give them a call for us to get access to the building. I would absolutely 0/10 recommend this place. Awful service and cleanliness.

Poor customer service.

No accommodation for disabled person tried to contact the receptionist to change the room, but no immediate response. Waited 3 hours since no front desk rep is available on site. Very poor customer service. We had to book another hotel that same day after 6 pm. We wasted half of our trip that day. We are still waiting on our refund and still did not get any email from hotel.com nor the hotel company.

The room was rather charming but a little less than clean. The fellow who met us was quite nice. On the downside they didn’t restock the coffee and some things were either broken or not working. Also beware of overcharging at the restaurant beside the rooms.

Style, shabby chic, focus on the shabby. Shower in need of replacing and a bit of attention to the general upkeep of the room. It was clean, bed was comfortable and clean towels and bedding. It is located close to the main attractions and was easy to get to from the railway station. Was good value for the money.

Amazing place to stay in Florence

Another comfortable and very well located place. The hotel is very good, the staff are super friendly and helpful, plenty of restaurants and cafeterias nearby, you can go anywhere on foot, super good location. Highly recommended.

No one checks you in - self serve coming to the property and finding you key and room. Good communication from the hotel on codes to enter and instructions. Rooms on the 8th floor and sketchy elevator. We chose the stairs and it is not for the weak. Lovely stay overall

Romanticismo...migliorabile :-)

Il fascino di un antico palazzo posto di fronte a Palazzo Pitti è innegabile! Ma perché mai far passare i clienti in un dedalo fatto di oggetti depositati qua e là (una testata di un letto da sostituire, un piano di cucina accanto alla reception....) fino ad arrivare ad una camera che, per quanto romantica, ma purtroppo sciupata da dettagli di basso livello (un bagno degli anni '90, un letto matrimoniale formato da due lettini attaccati e serviti da materassi vetusti). Il servizio di accoglienza a tarda sera, è stato efficiente attraverso l'impiego di un codice di ingresso e una segnalitica "personalizzata" con il nome del cliente lungo il dedalo suddetto. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono per il centro storico Unesco della città di Firenze.

La primera noche hubo mucho ruido en el pasillo y en habitaciones contiguas. Cada hora te despertabas, tal vez tenga que ver que era sábado, el resto de noche dormimos tranquilos. El wifi no funciona muy bien y a veces ni siquiera llega la cobertura, reclamamos que hicieran algo por correo y a día de hoy no se han dignado a contestar. Una dejadez absoluta en cuanto a la atención al cliente. Todo estaba muy limpio, cama cómoda y muy buena ubicación. Lástima del baño, necesita una reforma.

Booked a room not realising it was a shared bathroom. This was my own fault not the hotel. Due to sharing a bathroom it was not clean at times especially the toilet, also shower has mold on tiles and felt dirty. The bedroom was clean and bed/pillows were comfortable. Only downside was that we could not open the window for fresh air. The receptionist was very friendly and location was excellent. I would stay again but would be care to not to select shared bathroom.
