We stayed in the Jose room (which is more like a private cabin - it even has a little treehouse for kids out front). Beautiful grounds, extremely welcoming and helpful owners, and a great value. We plan to come back with a bigger group one day.

This trip far exceeded all expectations. Virgilio was an amazing host that provided an unforgettable experience with incredible and knowledgeable insight in wines and wine history. He provided a friendly and communicative experience that will definitely make it worth to revisit again. The wine provided in the tasting was the smoothest and tastiest wine I have ever tried. I booked this stay based on the positive reviews even though it were just a few. I have no idea where these people stayed but it was definitely not the same hotel. When we got there the gate was closed. It took 30 minutes to even get inside. The mattresses were the hardest I ever experienced. Service was non existent. The light for the wall AC unit was so bright it illuminated the whole room. Between the hard mattress and the light it was impossible to get a good rest. We had booked for 2 nights but left after one night. We are not spoiled or have unrealistic expectations. We have stayed in hostels and in tents but if there is no service and the beds are like cement, it just feels like a rip off if the place claims to be a hotel. The other guests who were there felt the same way.

Fue un excelente fin de semana en Vinya Abril, superó nuestras expectativas, lugar hermosos si buscas tranquilidad este el lugar perfecto. Nos hospedamos en la cabaña “La Jose”, dos habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas. Además de que el dueño del lugar nos trató de una manera excelente, fínisima persona y una plática rica en conocimiento. Mil gracias, definitivamente volveremos, la próxima vez con la compañía de más familia. 100% recomendado.
