The staff was beyond helpful, very friendly, was a delight to engage with. The few from my room was great. The restaurant connecting to the Tropicana was fabulous. All in all I will be going back.

Very nice rooms with all needed amenities. excellent location. Close to the mojo food market, sea point area and ocean, and an hour walk to waterfront (or use uber). Close to hop on-off bus stop. The weather was not for pool time, so did not use that, but the view from top floor is nice, even though it is a small pool and area. My room has a view to some building, but I was not expecting a view, so that was as expected. Nice to be able to open door though (3rd floor). Most staff were very friendly. They clean everyday. I made use of the airport shuttle and the drivers were so nice and friendly, I had some very good chats with them, so highly recommend using this service (additional cost). They do not have a locked baggage storage, but you can leave bags by the reception and they will look after it. In terms of safe areas in Cape Town, this is one of the better locations. There are some homeless in streets nearby, but this is your safer choice compared to downtown. I recommend this apartment hotel, if you look for a place with kitchen and no need for restaurant at hotel.

Rooms were niely cleaned everyday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool area is nice and the area around the hotel has many nice returants and is a block away from the Seapoint waterfront promenade. We were very happy wth our stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Tropicana, it’s a modern hotel in a great location with restaurants cafes and bars all walkable distance. The rooms were clean, had security at the entrance and was very convenient having the juno cafe next door. Only downside was the top floor pool is quite small but there are several pools by the pavilion if you want to go swimming.
