Got the the room and they only had 2 towels for 4 people. Had to run downstairs and get more towels. Then there was barely any toilet paper. Another run downstairs to get some. The room wasn’t clean at all, found long black hairs everywhere. Then the last straw was the stains on backside of pillows. Looked as if nothing was washed. We switched rooms because it was too late to leave the hotel with 2 small kids. For a brand new hotel, I would avoid it.

Wyndham Garden Tampa Fairgrounds / Casino We recently stayed at the Wyndham Garden Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino and had a great experience overall. The hotel is new and very well maintained, which immediately shows in the clean rooms and modern feel throughout the property. The location is extremely convenient, especially if you’re attending an event at the Florida State Fairgrounds—it’s close enough to be stress-free without feeling crowded. We were traveling as a family, and the hotel felt comfortable and family-friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere that worked well for both adults and kids. Everything was easy, from check-in to getting around the area. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a new, clean hotel in a convenient location, especially for fairground events. We would stay here again.

The hotel has only been open for 4 months, so being new, everything was in pristine shape. The small things that I look forward to in a hotel room were lacking, like lotion and a shower cap, but perhaps that will change eventually after they are open a little longer. The people working there are super nice and pleasant and even though they don't offer a breakfast in the morning, they have a great menu to order from. My white chocolate mocha caramel cappuccino, which the gentleman made himself, was amazing!
