I had a very disappointing experience at Extended Stay America Suites – Tampa – Casino Area. I drove over 2 hours to get there, arriving at the hotel around 1:00 AM, exhausted and expecting a smooth check-in after a long trip. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When I got to the front desk, I was informed that the hotel was overbooked and they did not have a room available for me—despite having a confirmed reservation. Being told this in the middle of the night, with no prior notice, was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. There was little effort to provide a proper solution or accommodation for the inconvenience, which made the situation even worse. After such a long drive, the last thing anyone wants is to be left without a place to stay at 1 AM. This experience completely ruined my trip, and I would not recommend this hotel based on how poorly this situation was handled. A reservation should mean something, and in this case, it clearly did not.

No extras in the room. No soap, lotion, etc. only one wash cloth. Pillows had stains on them. There were not any pillow cases on the actual pillow. The bed is like a college dorm bed. Makes every bit of noise when you move. This is the only hotel that looks decent to stay in for the price it was. It’s looks new, but it needs to TLC. only keyed entry which is nice. Receptionist was the best part of staying here. She was very professional and informative. Also, “breakfast” lasts about three hours. But only will have stuff to choose from within the first hour. Good stay if you just need a place to wash up and sleep.

Low water pressure, bed by the window is very uncomfortable has a dip in it. I was looking for a wash cloth for the dishes I had to used one from the bathroom. I stayed here just because of the kitchenette.

Beds are not the most comfortable cheap mattress towels are stained, the blinds in the room are not enough the light outside shown very bright in the room. No extra mirror in the room except in the bathroom. My room key didn’t work next day when I stayed 2 days.

The room had no shower curtain, no curtains, no dishes, no silverware, no coffee maker, no glasses, no cups, no chair to relax in, only 2 cafateria style chairs. No beadspread, only a sheet and a blanket. The bedframes were very, very noisy. There was nowhere to put your suitcase to unpack. The TV was not set up to use.

Got there, nice person but very slow at front desk. 2nd floor room, neither card key worked. Back down slow elevator, she gave two more keys. Got up to the room, cards worked, but the room had not been cleaned from previous occupants. Beds used, trash laying around, towels on floor, etc. BACK DOWN AGAIN, new room assigned next door room. Got up there, KEYS DIDN'T WORK! Housekeeping had been watching all this from down the hall. She called down to front desk. Front desk came up with new cards, they worked. All this after 1 hour wait at terminal for car rental pickup. Get to car rental, we were 35th in line, it was just a bad day, this did not help. In the morning, their "Breakfast ", at 6:30, only 1 muffin looking thing was there. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
