Fabulous location for such a reasonable price with genuine rooftop patio view of the Acropolis. At least a dozen good restaurant options within a 5-minute walk . I was allowed to check in early and the desk clerk also helped me book a taxi to the airport during the transportation strike — this was no easy feat! I highly recommend Kimon hotel!

Check in was slightly confusing, we had to press a button to alert the staff to open the door to let us in, this did not cause any problems though. The room was nice and the bed was okay. The best thing about the hotel though is how close it is to everything! and i mean everything! it is such a convenient location to stay at when it comes to tourism. The roof top seating was also quite enjoyable for a midday lunch, thank you Kimon Hotel

This is an older hotel. Although the size of the room was more than sufficient, the bathroom was a bit small. However, the room has a fridge and ample closet/storage space. And, the hotel is centrally located (10 minutes walk) near Syntagma Square. The hotel is close to numerous restaurants, bars, shopping, the subway, etc. Even though the hotel does not have an elevator, I would stay here again, especially considering that the price is much less that other hotels in the area.

Fantastic location and very nice hotel

This hotel is in a great location! It is within walking distance of all the sites in the city centre, such as the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the Ancient Agora and Lycabettus Hill. Very close to some great restaurants too, as well as within walking distance of Syntagma Square, Monastiraki Square and Psirri Square. Our room was comfortable, the shower was great and the fridge in our room was a real plus point. All the staff were lovely and helpful and our room was cleaned to an excellent standard. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was nice, not great but nothing bad about it either. The area around the hotel leaves something to be desired. It is conveniently located, an easy walk from public transportation and to many shops and restaurants. The bed and bed linens were comfortable, but nothing to write home about. We only had a short time in Athens but this hotel was perfect. The man at reception was so welcoming and helpful. (sorry I forget his name!) the location was perfect for a short stay so near to the acropolis and it was a lovely view from the terrace outside the room. We stayed one night, they took care of our luggage while we explored the city. Good room, big, a little old, the bathroom needs to have some shelves / bigger counter to put your items or clothes. The bad thing is that there is no elevator so you need to go up the stairs carrying your luggage. Also, if you need any help finding something like transportation, there is no 24 hour front desk. Other than that it is in a great location, close to everything.

The photo attached to this review is VERY misleading. Kimon Hotel entrance is up the street from the corner shown in the picture, and does not look anything like what is seen in the photo. The hotel is convenient for tourists wanting to walk to the main transport routes, and is close to many restaurants.
