Clean and well maintained hotel close to Shawnee national Park. Echo is very helpful of you need to check in late, helps with suggestions on outdoors activities, dining etc. Coffee and bagels for breakfast. Recommend it for couples who are looking for a good deal and want to explore Southern Illinois.

I've stayed here quite a few times in the last few months, I was living in my car due to a fire. The staff are amazing people! They went above & beyond to make me feel comfortable & at home. The rooms are clean & very well maintained. Even if the prices were much higher than the other hotels (which they are not) I would still choose Economy Inn in Harrisburg because of the kindness given to me there at a time that I really needed it. My thanks to them for giving me a place that felt like home when I did not have one.
