Friend Holiday

My friends and I stayed in the apartments (we had two apartments between us) - we thought they were very well located in terms of access to the Metro, and while we didn’t realise there was a festival going on when we booked, it made the location even better! We felt safe and secure, and when we ran into an issue with the front door, Happy People were quick to respond and send someone from Maintenance to assist. The apartment was very clean and we left it in a clean and tidy way too. Even though we were quite central in the area, it wasn’t noisy at night. Will definitely be recommending to other people going to Barcelona to stay; and for future friend trips, we will be thinking of booking again.

Lovely spacious flat

Had a really good stay! Worked perfectly for our group as the flat was spacious and gave us a good opportunity to relax while we had a busy trip to Barcelona! While the flat was warm, it was expected for Barcelona during a heatwave and the fans in the room kept us cool ☺️

The apartment was very unique and spacious. The outdoor patio was lovely with a colorful mural. The apartment was clean. The reason I am only giving 2 stars is there is no air conditioning at this apartment. This was not clearly stated anywhere in our booking. We traveled to Barcelona at the end of June and the outside temperature was 90+ degrees Fahrenheit. It was like walking into an oven after a long day of traveling and sightseeing when we arrived at the apartment. We booked the apartment for 2 nights, but had to make other arrangements for our second night. There was no way our family could endure a second night of that brutal heat. It would have been nice if the apartment owner had been proactive and tried to help with an alternative option since the temperature was so high. Do not stay here in the summer! You will be hot and will not be able to sleep at night.

DO NOT stay here if it is a hot month. The apartment itself was fine.. I would say cute even. I would have been pleased with our stay if it was not during a heat wave. There was NO through air. No way to cool down and we have younger kids who started feeling ill with the heat. It was probably 90 degrees. No one slept. We were all drenched in sweat. We ended up leaving a night early to find a hotel with air. I looked over the whole website and do not see this noted anywhere. I asked the company for a refund for the one night we had to leave, but they refused. I wish they had been more willing to help.. maybe bring in fans or an air condition temporary unit.. I don’t know how they expect guests to stay there. Also, they do say there are stairs but the stairs are very steep and difficult to carry luggage. Any mobility issues at all should avoid.

The location was too good and accessible but mine was 3rd floor so have to climb up stairs with kids ( should be ok). The major problem is shower room didnt have proper doors and it was outside so anyone can see. I had to cover it up for my family to take shower. I asked for help but it was after 9 PM so no help. I called help number but after 9PM the charge is 50€ that was not ideal.

Comfortable, Clean with an excellent location

We had a wonderful stay at the Classic Barcelona Gracia apartment. The location is unbeatable—nestled in the heart of Gracia, with charming pedestrian streets, local cafes, and shops just steps away, yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The beds are cozy and supportive, ensuring we rested well each night. The bathroom has excellent water pressure and consistently hot water, which we really appreciated after long days exploring the city. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home, from quality cookware to utensils and basic staples. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the authentic Barcelona experience in comfort and style.
