You get what you pay for.

The room was a bit small and there was no hanging space for coats or dresses. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. It was a very warm night and although we could open the windows the traffic noise was bad so we had to close them. Breakfast was ok if you wanted a cooked full English but the cereals were very limited, the bread was not wholemeal and there was NO MARMALADE! Is this England?? It was ok, you get what you pay for and the price was reasonable.

Disgusting!!!!

Absolutely disgusting place! We stayed 4 night and paid £48 for parking and was told i was not guaranteed a space! The spa facilities were absolutely disgusting! The sauna was freezing and rest of it was disgusting! We didn’t get any fresh towels or bed sheets in the room all the time we were there! The tv was probably the smallest TV in the world! The bed was like sleeping on a bed of bricks! The only good thing about it was the location

Not the best...not not the worst.

Pleasent enough staff and we added breakfast for i day which was good value. The location is also good and the car park is a must in Bournmouth. As for the room itself,,,i would rate as very average. Half the lights in the room did not work and only 1 electrical socket to run the all the appliances in room TV / Fan / Kettle. We were in a twin room so charging phones ETC became a relay ! The room furnature is very old and basic old brown wood , the type you see in charity shops. The carpet was also stained and worn, The beds were quite comfortable and the bed linin was clean. We were in the area for a wedding so did not spend a huge amount of time in the hotel. The location and the price point made it possable for our needs. Not the best....but certainly not the worst. Could be a lot better with some overdue TLC.

Nära till allt man behöver!

Fint hotell med väldigt bra läge! 5 minuter promenad till stranden och centrum. Rummet var stort och trevligt inrett. Tyvärr var det extremt varmt, men det fanns två fläktar som fick stå på dygnet runt. Hade även önskat en lite större frukostbuffé för det priset, men det fanns full English och den var bra. Kan definitivt tänka mig att bo här igen nästa gång jag besöker Bournemouth!

Our first room was not up to cleanliness standards.We were moved to a better cleaner room the manager came to see us and was very helpful & apologised.The location was fantastic the staff were friendly breakfast was on a basic level and on the last two days there was no orange juice or yogurts could do with a wider cereal choice & maybe bananas too overall was a decent hotel that still has areas of improvement and could see work was being done on the property while we were there.

Disgusting hotel - like a squat

Check-in was met by a very rude receptionist - when I complained about my room gave me an equally disgusting room. Leaving me with little to choose from. Someone else attempted to help but was told that that was all they could do. Later in that night a lovely receptionist switched me to a far cleaner room, demonstrating that it could be done - so why wasn’t it done earlier? The requirements of any hotel should be a clean room with furniture that isn’t so dated and old that sitting on it becomes a health risk. Also found a bug on the bed. All in all very poor service apart from the one receptionist and the rooms for single people are awful! See photos - £50 a night - wow - goes up to £90 on Saturday - poor show -

Good location but hotel little dated

Near beachfront and not too far from centre. Hotel itself dated … old furniture in rooms, lumpy bed with some stains on linen. Although bathroom is old, shower hot water ok and towels clean. Pool and jacuzzi warm and clean but dated - bubbles not working and steam room takes too long to warm up. Gym equipment should be removed - looks very dated. Cooked breakfast mostly inedible - everything overdone and dry.

Don’t let a fancy name fool you.

How this hotel has merited 3 stars is simply beyond me, the only positive about it is geographical as it’s close to the beach and town centre. Initially it seemed nice judging by reception and bar area. This is the only positive I can give it though. There were 2 lifts in the building, one of which was out of order which made it very difficult for disabled to reach other floors as the lift used led a small 3 step staircase to reach the majority of the hotel. The other lift was defaced with multiple slurs on the walls, one of which referencing the orientation of a chap called Dann. The rooms were outdated and looked like they hadn’t been changed since the 70s with wallpaper peeling. Ariel cables hanging out back of the TV, clearly broken. The mattress was old, so old it was dipping each side and I almost fell out on my first night. Bathroom had stains on the bathtub, where the ceramic had worn down with a shower clogged with limescale. A tower fan was provided for the stuffy room however this was clogged with dust to the point where layers of it could be pulled easily from the vent. As we were staying a couple of nights we expected that the bin’s were emptied (especially as we had a toddler in nappies) and coffee, milk sugar replenished for the following morning. Clearly we were expecting too much! Small swimming pool was stained and showed signs of mould. Sauna was colder than the pool area. I will not be staying here and advise others to avoid.
