This review is based on the concept “you get what you pay for” in the most positive way - it was simple, clean, and comfortable for a quick stay in the keys. I really think the negative reviews have no concept of the price of hotels in the keys.

This motel was relatively inexpensive for the Keys. It was roomy, bright with windows on three sides. Cute little porch with two chairs and a table. No microwave or hairdryer.

Sea Cove shouldn’t be advertised as a “Resort & Marina” because it’s just a motel and there’s no marina. The floor in my room was dirty and so was the bathroom. Hairs throughout room. No bathroom mat to stand on after getting out of the shower and no entrance mat to wipe your shoes on prior to entering room. I didn’t expect the Ritz Carlton, but it was only slightly better than camping.
