Such a beautiful space in the heart of Old Town, Edinburgh. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had all the amenities necessary. Perfectly clean and organized, this space felt safe with clear instructions on how to access and manage. Located in a perfect spot in the city centre, I absolutely loved my stay here! Would recommend profusely.

Great layout and amazing location. We were two staying but had relatives come for dinner and had enough space for 4 at the small kitchen table (moved to living area).

The location and apartment were wonderful and suited us perfectly. But it was very noisy with bar below on candlemaker row and noise from in the street going on all night. We would have liked a top sheet and a lighter duvet . It was very warm in the apartment. Could figure out how to alter the air conditioning. . The check in process was terrible. I messaged via the booking app requesting check in instructions the day before arriving. I did not receive any response until the late evening of my arrival saying that I should have gotten an email…which for whatever reason,I did not get. It would have been more helpful to just message the instructions there and then rather than saying I should have got an email about it. Why would one asking again if I got an email ?? The numbers listed on the booking site and on the door did not correspond to anyone that could help. I was left stranded with my children and suitcases for over an hour in the late evening outside on a busy street trying to get into the unit . It took several long distance international cell phone calls to even reach someone who was able to direct me . There are other “destiny George Iv” apartments all next to each other , all operated by different owners . A simple directive on the instructions would have been to give a landmark , perhaps to say it is the “ big blue door” or something like that. Anyway, once we got in, the place is clean and comfortable . The unit is spacious. Be aware that you cannot get any more than 4 towels and linens unless you pay extra for them. There is a washer,but there is NO dryer, even though the listing says it has a dryer . The location is central and a very close walk to everything. That being said, it is extremely loud at night till about 3-4am. Window are not at all soundproof.
