A very pleasant surprise as we opted to break up the drive and spend a night in Maple Creek. An older facility, perhaps, but it is clean, the shower was hot and had good pressure, and the bedding was more than comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave, good TV options, solid Wi-Fi, and lots of plug-ins. The bathroom had plenty of towels and supplies. AC was a touch on the loud side, but cooled the room effectively. The presentation of the breakfast is a bit different than usual, but it has what most need to start their day. Convenient parking, efficient check-in, and (unlike our last few hotels) the key card worked on our room door without issue. And the stay was surprisingly quiet.

The furniture in the room was very worn. Without using the pillows, it would have been difficult to sit in the chairs. The bed was good. Temperature in the room was difficult to regulate. We tried to turn down the thermostat to 19.5 degrees from 24. However, to make any change we had to use the wall air conditioner.
