Overall an affordable place nearby where we wanted to stay. Check in was via chat and once you figured it out no issues--staff was very responsive and helpful via chat. Some of the hallways were not clean and the walls do let alot of noise in from other units.

Confesso que as fotos enganam um pouco sobre o tamanho dos quartos e bairro. O quarto e banheiro (que inclusive fica fora do quarto 😒) estavam extremamente limpos, mas a vizinhança da hospedagem deixa muito a desejar. Não há muitas opções de mercado, lojas e restaurantes por perto. As opções que existem são precárias e bastante sujas. Também achei que fosse mais perto da estação de trem, mas o hotel fica há uma boa distância de lá, se estivesse chovendo, teria sido um problema. O bairro realmente é ruim, com muitos moradores de rua, motel meio sinistro e pessoas mal encaradas. O hotel é bom, mas não voltaríamos.

First , did not know I would be sharing the Apt, space. Someone had my pin # and came in my Room While i was in my room???? at 1: 07 AM not safe.. I contacted Josie. the Mgt She never returned my call.. I kept my chair against the door while in room and Of course other hotels were booked, due to the event.. Not Cool at All… I want my $$ back… Others be careful at Forty 1st Place in Cali

If you want to save money no matter what, sure, go for it. It’s really close to Olympic park and I felt safe. But the property needs some work. Curtain was dusty and broken, unable to close to darkness, wall needed painting, shower had super weak water pressure and hot water took a bit to come. No water filter/ drinking water in kitchen and contrary to post, no parking and street is full most times. Be prepared to walk a bit. No access to a human for support unless you talk to a malfunctioning chat bot first asking for someone to contact you, which they only do by text when they want. If owners really wanted, they could make this place amazing.

Very clean and nice hostel for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Downtown LA area. Conveniently five minutes from downtown and very easy check in and check out process. Definitely recommend booking at Forty-First place hostel!

First and foremost great value! We had the deluxe suite which had two queen beds and a private attached bathroom. Perfect for a group of women traveling! Clean room and the staff was quick to respond when we needed more bathroom supplies.

Property was clean, staff was great. Room was very nice and spacious. Only thing was the parking. It is first come, first served and surrounding area is one with very limited street parking. Plan to take an uber/lyft or park 3-4 blocks away after a night out like we did.
