Was shocked how much I paid for the room and had no water or robes to walk to and from the spa. However found the bed and pillows too firm but gorgeous living room and bedroom and his and hers sinks in the bathroom with also choice or bath or shower. Over all had lovely stay!

We travelled to Oxford for a break from city life and found this lovely hotel. The service was great on check-in. The bar service was also very good. Drinks were a little bit on the pricey side of things. Our room was lovely and well presented and we found the bed to be really comfortable. There was one issue however. at night the balcony lights would come on automatically, which meant light attempted to shine into the room. If I woke up early without looking at the clock, I think the Sun was rising.

The staff were nice and friendly, steam room was stinking, the breakfast was super basic, it was the worst breakfast I ever had, one egg, they didn't have sausages, two dry hash browns. The coffee tasted awful. I always look forward to the hotel breakfast and now I know why there were no photos of breakfast in here.
