I have to say, I'm rather conflicted about this hotel. The pub and beer garden are beautiful with a wonderful atmosphere. Even the accommodation reminded me of the B&B my Grandma owned when I was a child, old, characteristic and well stocked. But sadly what let me down was the cleanliness of the rooms, the lack of general upkeep and the novice attitude of the staff. Now don't get me wrong, the ladies running the place were lovely, they just didn't quite seem like they knew what they were doing.
The food was tasty and certainly had a freshness to it, my only suggestion here would be to provide more options.
The Cherry Tree needs bringing into the 21st century, but oddly, I wanted to be the one who did so. I couldn't quite help but fall in love with it's potential.
