Located between Portofino and Santa Margarita and on the hiking paths to reach both places without walking with the traffic on the road. Bus goes in either direction every 15 minutes if you don’t want to walk. Gem of a hotel. Small, clean, functional. Great breakfast. Accommodating friendly staff. Owner gave us a small bottle of limoncina when we checked out.

An affordable way to visit Portofino

At 20-30mins walking distance to Portofino (on a nice footpath set into the hills and overlooking the sea), this hotel is well located for visiting the village whilst escaping the incredible hotel costs of Portofino itself. It's also an easy 30min walk to Santa Margherita Ligure along the coastal footpath from the hotel. The included breakfast was very good, and the staff were very kind and attentive. I overlooked the detail that the room I booked was not ensuite, but had a dedicated bathroom nearby, which I regretted as this was inconvenient. Other rooms did have ensuite. This is a budget hotel in a very expensive location so close to Portofino. Paraggi only has three restaurants, which are even more expensive that eating in Portofino itself. If returning, I would probably stay in Santa Margherita Ligure, for the plentiful restaurants, shopping, beach, and lovely port/harbour, and then use the frequent bus to visit Portofino. I would recommend visiting Protofino early in the morning, before the cruise ship visitors arrive, then you can enjoy the beauty and peace of the place.

Bedste beliggenhed ved Potofino

Til 2 nætter er dette lille hyggelige hotel godt. Værelserne er meget små og trænger til nogle reparationer, men det er rent og charmerende. Ville gerne have vist at privat badeværelse betød at det ligger separat fra værelset ude på gangen, det blev dobbelt så dyrt at blive opgraderet til værelse med badeværelse, vores venner gav endnu mere og den eneste forskel fra vores værelse var et vindue mere men ingen udsigt. Den private parkering viste sig at koste 40 euro i døgnet, så opholdet endte med at blive dobbelt så dyrt. Men vi nød de to dage og morgenmaden var god.

Basic hotel but good price for the area. Wonderful breakfast which was served to you. Great location. Bit noisy as on main road. Hotel can reserve spaces in the main car park but is quite costly.

Nous avons été bien accueillie. Nous devions avoir une chambre avec les toilettes à l'extérieur et on nous a donné une chambre avec salle de bain et WC privatif. Assez calme. Bien placé dans la baie. Bon petit dejeuner.

Et meget fint 2 stjernet hotel. Og jo, det kunne være dejligt med elevator og fuld aircondition, men det er der ikke. Til gengæld har hotellet charme, dejlig atmosfære og dejlige opmærksomme værter. Anbefaler strandene til en af siderne i kort gå afstand fra hotellet og snyd ikke jer selv for en gåtur til Portofino af den smukke sti.

Dejligt lille rent værelse på hyggeligt lille hotel med meget venligt personale. Vær opmærksom på, at nogle af værelserne har badeværelse på gangen, men det er intet problem. Det er privat badeværelse som kun du har nøglen til.

Vi bytte upp oss till takvåningen med terrass, solstolar, sittgrupp och jacuzzi. Helt fantastiskt! Dubbelt så dyrt men absolut värt pengarna. Superiorrum var så litet och trångt. Fanns bara sängen att sitta på. Takterrassen gjorde vår vistelse här till ett oförglömligt minne. Jättefina vandrinsleder börjar precis vid hotellet. Jättefina kustpromenader både till Portofino och Santa Margerita. Liten allmän strand tvärs över gatan med härligt salta bad i kristallklart vatten. Sen upp på takterrassen och njuta.

Emplacement idéal qui permet d'aller à pied le soir quand tout le monde est parti jusqu'à portofino. Excellent petit déjeuner servi à table mais un choix exceptionnel et de qualité. Excellent rapport qualité prix excellent accueil merci encore tout fut parfait.

Der Service war gut, die Zimmer sehr klein. Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Jeden Tag das gleiche und vorallem gab es weder ein frisches Ei, Rühr- oder Spiegelei. Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.
