Arrived early and left my car in the car park, was offered to check in early however we was in a rush so didn’t take up the offer but it was appreciated. Very easy to check in and check out. Small hotel in a pretty setting . It feels more like B&B rather than a hotel . We walked to a local vineyard-Carr Taylor via back roads . However , not much else in safe walking distance as on a very busy road if you turn left and if you turn right is hire country lanes the exception of the vineyard . If you driving or ubering or walking 10 miles plus this is a good base . Slept ok . Ate there for evening meal - Resturant onsite but very English pub grub style .
