My 4 night 5 day stay at the Terra Linda resort was pretty Nice. I felt extremely Safe with aThe Terra Lindas Security staff on Duty 24 /7!.The On Site Restaurants Staff was Anazing,and pleasant to be aerved by them. The Room Service Staff were really freindl! The only issue i had was with my shower head in my bano! OTHER than thatv. it was a gr8 stay!

Front desk service is good, but the restaurant service is bad I mean very bad you have to wait at least 15 min to get anything even just a cup of coffee with 4 to 6 ppl in the restaurant. The staff at the restaurant are unhappy for some reason….

Central location & walking distance to places of interests. Restaurant food is good. On site parking for guests. Property clean. Rooms clean but dated. Odor in bathroom maybe due to plumbing pipes need to be cleaned or replaced. Seems like the odor is coming up from drains. Bathroom fixtures need to be replaced. AC unit in room needs to be cleaned. Mold seem to be inside unit. Over night security guard unfriendly.

The water was dirty i had to change my room 2 times becsuse the air conditioning was blowing warm air and they control the air . The remote control to the tv probably need batteries the pool was closed and wasnt advertised that it was closed . The property isnt taken care of . This isnt a resort its more of a hotel . This is not a 3/4 star property it isn’t even a resort. It’s more like a 1star and some of the local prostitutes use the premises. None of the state amenities are true, none of the staff speaks English, AC units in rooms don’t work, no linens in the room even after being switched 2x, lighting is bad in the corridors and makes you feel unsafe. Beds are hard and lumpy. The only redeeming quality is armed security onsite which was an absolute must given the questionable characters that frequent the property

I will never stay at this place again if my life depends on it. It was the worse hotel experience ever! Where do start. They gave me 1 towel and sad that they didnt have anymore. I had to go buy my own just to get clean. The AC worked well like too well and there is no way to manually control the AC. There was a dead roach on the bed sheet. The floors are concrete cobble stone. The shower was dirty and the shower curtain was stained. The food was horrible. How do you mess up wings, man. The ranch dressing taste like trarter sauce. I expressed my concerns and was brushed off by the attendant. Don't waste your time or money by staying here.

Dissatisfied

We can start with the owner….at no point did the owner even once say hello. Me and my friend been at this hotel four times for the year already and were planning on returning but the overall experience was not good. Cushion were changed for the chair at the end of the night and next was still not replaced but piled up in the restaurant, a total sore eye, especially knowing that was our usual place to eat. No upgrades in the rooms. We were originally placed in two rooms where dirty towels were on the bed as if the rooms were not prepared or inspected before the guests could stay. Horrible on the part of the front desk clerk who should have ensured the rooms were in proper order. Telling us no more rooms are available but after we complained, two other rooms miraculously appeared. Water leaking into the room after it rained, not so bad but that could cause a slippery situation if not addressed. Everytime we go there, a downstairs bar is there but never available for service. A pool that is not readily available for use. What is going on. Is this a business that needs better management or need to be passed on to someone else. I plan to be in Sosua in later months but Terra linda would not be the place to stay. What waste of a great setting.

This was my second time staying in Terra Linda. I had a good stay there back in July 2024. This time (Oct 2025) the experience was not as good. Although the location is convenient and the price was affordable, the hotel is under new management, and the service and quality have diminished substantially. Upon my arrival, I found a massive group of ants milling about the room, not just 10 or twenty, but dozens. Also, the WiFi was almost non-existent. The cleaner was sent, and she promptly proceeded to mop up (not sweep) the ants. Unable to fix the WiFI connection issue, we changed rooms. That brought with it another problem -- the loud, piercing, incessant noise from the building's electrical unit. This made it impossible to sleep or rest, which was the purpose of my vacation. Management was unable or unwilling to fix this problem, so I had to move back to the previous room, which was farther away from the noise. I bought insect spray to take care of the ants and other bugs, but it was NOT capable of taking care of the rat that ran around my balcony and defecated all over it. The broken shower head did not make it easy to shower, and although I informed management, nothing was done. One day, they forgot to clean my room, and although I informed management, nothing was done. The one dinner I had there (baby back ribs) made me sick, sending me to the toilet. They no longer accept credit or debit cards. Clearly, service and quality are not up to par. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
