Every member of staff (especially Grumpy) was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made our visit special. We wanted small and historic with a potential side of spooky, and the inn delivered. What a bonus the tavern was too—while we didn't get a chance to dine in the restaurant, we'll make a point to do so next time.

It just didn’t feel clean because everything was old. No furniture to sit on to watch TV. Small refrigerator was beside the toilet.
