Everything was very calm and relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful in keeping our room clean as well as providing options for excursions, and the property was beautiful. A fantastic boutique place! 20 individual bungaloes, each with own, private outside area for sitting and enjoying native foliage. Beautifully appointed room, with 2 beds and couch. Indoor and outdoor showers for your room. Beautiful landscaping along walkways and pool areas. Secluded beach with loungers. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Spa massage was wonderful. Restaurant portions were generous, tho menu was somewhat limited. Service was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Alma! It was everything we were looking for and more. The amenities and room were great and being able to walk to the beach was key for us as we saw the best sunsets every day. The staff were also great, Angie and Juan were always helpful, nice and got us everything we needed. Some small recommendations is to have some more lounge chairs by the beach as sometimes they were hard to find. And a bar by the pool would have been awesome. Otherwise, we loved staying at Alma.

Amazing place! A very romantic place with a great family atmosphere. Much love has gone into this place to make it special! Perfectly manicured gardens with hand tools. Perfect in every way. Prettiest beach along the Southern Pacific coast and I’ve stayed at them all. The food was great and the hospitality was a 10plus. Loved the indoor/outdoor shower. What a wonderful property this is. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. The 2 pools are wonderful and the beach just goes on and on. Grounds were spectacular, flowers, green grass, palm trees, right on the beach. Swimming at high-tide was safe and fun. The pool was enjoyable and rooms were open and spacious. The grounds keeper even pointed out a family of sloths living in trees outside our room. Next time we'll stay a week!

This was a beautiful, small property on the Pacific Ocean. I loved sleeping on the hammocks on the beach. Our bungalow faced the ocean. The ocean was too rough to swim in comfortably for me. The most incredible perfect stay! Staff is amazing! Attention to all details! Grounds are immaculate! Rooms are huge and even have a water bottle in the fridge that you can refill because the water is filtered! The breakfast is amazing! I have nothing but praise for this place! I’ve travelled a lot!! But this is the best stay I’ve ever had! The location is a perfect jump spot to access all the activities in this area! Zip lining, Nauyaka waterfalls, Manuel Antonio national park, Quepos! And there are many restaurants less than one kilometer away at the plaza! I will definitely tell everyone about this place! And I’ll be back!

Wow, what an amazing holiday. The hotel was fabulous, right on the beach and very quiet. The villa was huge with our own plunge pool and amazing sea view. The staff were so friendly and helpful - We speak no Spanish but the staff mostly spoke good English and also taught us a few words of Spanish too. The hotel arranged so many trips/transfers and hire car for us - they were so efficiant with excellent communication, they made the holiday so much easier thank you. The cleaning staff did an amazing job keeping our rooms lovely and fresh, and all the staff were cheerful and friendly, even the gardeners always said hello and smiled. We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and our first proper holiday for many years - it did not disappoint, and we will be back! Areas to note - our plunge pool had a few loose tiles but nothing that effected its use. Our villa had a large lounge/kitchen and seperate bedroom at the back. It was huge but almost too big for 2 people and the bedroom does not have the sea view. This is a personal thing and in no way detrimental to our trip. There is very little walkable so a car is a must.
