Charming Inn with Great Service

We had a great time at Hedis Inn during the busy Kite Festival 2025. The staff was kind, quick to handle an issue, and very welcoming. Loved the cute kittens and dogs (not roaming). This is the least expensive place to stay in Ilwaco/Astoria. Its fine for people going fishing or just passing through, but its not anything special. Its older and the rooms smell like smoke, but it'll do, in a pinch.

A place to "fallout."

The managers were great. Very friendly and answered any questions that we may of had. Told us about the area we were looking to visit. Rooms were large and functioned well. Mostly it was just a place for us to "fallout" in away from the tourist places.. It was not the Ritz or anything close, just a place to rest. Could use a little work here and there, but we weren't there for the glamour. Price was fair and close to the beaches and State Parks (lighthouses). Need to think about where you want to eat dinner as places seem to close early. Oregon is only about 40 minutes away and the Lewis and Clark N.P.
Not near llwaco, but an example of the lighthouses. This one is at Westport.

Honestly it was great! I definitely want to give a shootout to Devin! I swear he was the from open to close the entire weekend, and he was amazing! Definitely a great host! I would say the only downfall was the fact that there was no Air conditioning and with the big room and the amount of people we had staying in the room it was definitely very warm in there. But other than that, it was a great stay! We will definitely be back!
