Good location, close to London Bridge Station. Basic facilities below what expected for the charge. i.e. no towels in kitchen for drying up, no hand towel in bathroom and personal towels way too small to wrap around the body. Communication with the host was very poor, no telephone number so had to raise an issue via email which took hours to get a response. Prior to check in and arrival I had given the hosts details of our reason for travel, as requested, and stated that we were Mother and Adult Son and so needed two beds ( I knew it was to be one bed and one sofa bed). On arrival the sofa bed was not made up and there was no sign of bedding to be utilised. An email a few hours later told us to 'check the cupboards' which we did but could see no bedding. For that night I slept uncovered and my son slept on top of the duvet from my bed which we placed on top of the sofa bed. He was able to use one of the pillows from my bed. We both had such a bad night's sleep that it effected the next day and we ultimately decided not to stay the second night and instead headed home that night. The host's pre-arrival blurb states that the cleaning fee 'covers cleaning and preparation or the property..as well as a set of fresh linen and towelling provided for each guest'. Whilst I can accept that the cleaner made a mistake by not making up the sofa bed its the poor communication and attitude that disappoints.
