Family owned hotel and restaurant was a nice touch. Located just outside of Luzern downtown and reachable by train which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Note the train only comes once an hour so plan accordingly. Several walkable restaurants nearby. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and provided travel adapters for free. Breakfast was a nice spread including eggs, cheese, meats and other items. Hotel was very quiet and well kept. Great base for Luzern and the area.

Great Stay, Awesome Service!

Great Stay, about 7-8 mins walk to the nearest Hbf/Bahnhof (train + bus). Room was adequate as well as the bathroom! Tap water is fresh and clean (as much as in most, if not all parts of Switzerland - otherwise said). Temperature control on the water pressure is fantastic, you can get really cold water or really hot water if you wanted the extremes. Bed comfy for two, TV great. Breakfast was good, just your regular cold cuts, bread, yogurt, juice/coffee, fruits, hard boiled eggs! delicious! Otherwise, comfortable stay! however just a future recommendation (for summer time especially and maybe winter) but a ice machine for the guest to get some delicious ice in a small insulated cooler (for each room)? since there is no A/C (only a small portable fan which is better than nothing) and no individual fridge (which both of these are not evident in many hotels). The ice would be very refreshing in the summer time!

The room was nice but we seemed to be a distraction for the staff as they tried to run the restaurant. You have to walk through part of v the dining area to get to the rooms which makes things difficult when they are full. After driving to get to the hotel, they were not willing to allow us to eat there, starting they were full, even though the dining room was empty when we checked in.

Mattresses were very poor quality: thin and lumpy. Dinner portions were tiny, and very expensive. No telephone in room to contact reception desk and no safe in room. Bed sheets were of poor quality. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. That’s all!

Easy 7 mins walk from Littau station which is 1 stop from Lucern main station Front desk lady Monica very nice enough to check room and giving early check in at 12 + noon. Fairly big size room and free WIFI. No kettle, asked for 1 and was very promptly delivered. Free breakfast included Cons. Room 304 very close to busy road. Vehicles can be quite loud but if you are not bothered then ok. Shower uses shower curtains so water may spill about toilet, a bit annoying but can make do with it.

Stayed there for one week. Overall, the room was nice and clean with a hottub, which we didn't expect. The bed was comfortable but it was made by putting two separate smaller beds side by side. They moved apart when we wanted to sleep close to each other - it may or may not apply to everyone. There was no air conditioning in the room and we had to use the windows. The property did not have laundry service. Didn't see do jot disturb sign to not clean room on some days, but we may have missed it. Breakfast was very good. Staff were bery friendly, courteous, and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was good too.
