Im writing this review now cause I can’t let myself be scammed twice by the same individual. First time I booked Solaris apartment was on my birthday. I called and informed that I was gonna check in late and they said it was okay, I got there and waited FOUR HOURS. Cause they couldn’t reach the host. When they finally reach someone, I was told the apartment was removed from Expedia and was asked to pay AGAIN in cash and that I’ll be refunded my money through Expedia. Exhausted, I agreed. It’s been a month and I’ve not been refunded. Mind you, I’ve tried communicating with both the host and Expedia and the host has basically refused to refund me, cause Expedia has been calling him to give the approval for a refund but he has refused to respond.
Fast forward to present day. I booked at the Lennox apartment for today. I called the host like I always do to inform them of my arrival and lo and behold it’s the same host. He gave me the same story as the last time, that it’s been removed from Expedia so the listing shouldn’t be showing and I reminded him that this isn’t not our first rodeo and I’ve given this story before, by him and he asked me to take it up with Expedia. I let him know I was gonna leave a bad review on his listing on Expedia. And this is what he texts me
“ You might as well not call me for room tomorrow because after your blackmail I am not hosting you. Please do yourself a favor and call Expedia for cancellation” BEWARED THIS LISTING IS A SCAM”
