We have been going here for years. The rooms are nice but It is in need of a good cleaning, remodel. It seem when you book through Hotels.com you get less attention and a room in the back. No elevator or help available with luggage up 3 flights of stairs. It's all about Location Location.

Sunnyside is a gorgeous older property right on the lake. The room was comfortable, the shower fantastic (awesome water pressure), and the views spectacular.

Home away from home in Tahoe, can’t wait to come back. The staff feels like family the minute we walked in. The food was high quality and interesting choices. Love the nightly tea and hot chocolate.

We always love our stay at Sunnyside. Great staff and jazz piano music for breakfast. Not a fan of the evening music though.

We will be back

Went for our anniversary. It was a beautiful property on the water. The only downfall is we didn’t have a designated parking spot for lodge guest. Due to lack of parking had to park down the road and walk.
