Comfort, Quite and Calm!

In between residences for my new co op, this location was my heaven. A comfortable quiet stay and nearby buses and trains. The staff was caring and kind. The affordable stay matched my former rent payments. I am grateful!

It's pretty upsetting that you allow this hotel to say they have free parking. They have 10 cramped parking spaces that are always taken. We had to search for parking every day of our stay. There was no ventilation in the room. The bathroom had brand new vents but they didn't turn on.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. We walked into what was supposed to be a clean room. There was hair on the toilet and in the bed. It was gross. We informed the front desk and got clean sheets for the bed. The floor we were on smelled like marijuana and was extremely loud. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is a scam. Dont trust pictures. The outside of hotel is RAT INFESTED and in a horrible neighborhood. Hotel staff was rude and check in took 20 minutes. After finally getting a key, i found that the "free parking " is limited to 10 parking spots and there is no overnight street parking. . Had to book another hotel. Just a horrible place....

New hotel in the Bronx

Hotel is new and in an area of the Bronx that is developing and gentrifying. There are local shops, restaurants, and bodegas in walking distance including a 24 hour McDonald's across the street. The subway is a 10 minute walk and one hour to Times Square. The hotel offers free parking but there are not many parking spots, it's first come first serve. There is street parking but that also was full and street cleaning hours. Overall, for a one night stay it was a good stay, except the parking.

Our stay was very safe, very clean hotel. Very comfortable. Just a few tips for hotel management. Shower needs a soap dish or liquid soap shelf, no where to put soap while you’re showering. This makes it difficult for older people to have to bend down to grab soap or shampoo from the shower floor. Also, towel racks, none in bathroom to hang towel. Rooms should all have microwaves, not very convenient to have to go to lobby to use the only microwave in the whole hotel. Absolutely no kind of amenities… maybe like a lil area in lobby where one can purchase a bottle of water, soft drink, snacks, etc etc. Other than that, very nice stay! Surprise to see this in the Bronx.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel LIV in the Bronx. The hotel is modern, clean, and the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained — a great place to relax after a busy day in the city. The Bronx itself isn’t the most polished area of New York, but it has its own local charm. While some parts can feel a bit rough around the edges, the neighborhood around the hotel felt safe and had everything I needed nearby. One big plus is that the subway is very close to the hotel, making it super easy to get anywhere in NYC. Having that kind of access to the trains made a huge difference during my stay. What truly made the experience stand out was the service — especially from Ben. Ben was incredibly helpful, always kind, and went out of his way to make sure I felt welcome. His positive energy and local advice really made my trip better. Thank you, Ben, for the amazing hospitality! Hotel LIV is lucky to have you.

Very clean. Parking was a bit difficult as the lot was very small with limited spots. The nightstand had outlets but didn’t work because the nightstand itself wasn’t plug in, with no outlet near to even plug it in ourselves. The shower was nice but had zero shelves so your stuff was on the floor. Also wish there was a safe, and hangers for the closet (the rail was there to hang stuff but hangers weren’t provided). It was a bit noisy, you could hear people in rooms all the way down the hall.
