Absolutely wonderful accomodation. Comfortable bed, clean amenities, exceptionally cosy. Check in was easy, with info forwarded the morning of, so we could just get in, get the keys, and be on with our day. The proprietor let us check out later for a good price as my partner was unwell and needed extra time to recover. We appreciate the exceptional hospitality.

Great location. Didn’t have breakfast - plenty of places nearby. Arc is not trying to be luxurious but clean and tidy and convenient. Harrogate is a lovely place for a break.

Nice stay at the Arc. Kim is a friendly host. Room was a little cold but a supplementary heater was provided which made it cosier. Recommend it for access to central Harrogate. Bars and restaurants all close by. Parking was a bit difficult and Limited to on street but limited by a permit from the establishment.

Fantastic in every way.

The Arc Harrogate is a small but fantastic hotel. There were detailed instructions sent to me about everything before I arrived and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The parking is on street parking, but the hotel provided the necessary permits, complete with a photo of how to display them and details of what time the parking ran out. The room was spotless and very well serviced. Every day the bathroom was cleaned, the tea and coffee supplies topped up and so on. The communal areas were also spotlessly clean. It is perfect for the Harrogate International Convention Centre being directly across the road. I cannot fault this place at all and would definitely go back. They deserve the business and they deserve a recommendation.

Perfect stay. Kim couldn't do enough; I was checking in late Saturday for a conference and Kim was receptive and made the process smooth and easy. Couldn't ask for a better location for the convention centre, directly across the road! The room was clean, the water pressure was excellent, the stay served it's purpose exactly as required. Would happily stay here again for a future conference.

This is not 4* by any means. The room was tired, fill holes on the wall, and many marks, stain on carpet and shelves were loose, which was concerning given one held the kettle. There is no reception which is not always a problem, so communication is over Whatspp. The curtain isn't big enough so street light easily came in, the walls are paper thin, as I could hear the person next door snoring and their mobile vibrate / call throughout the night. When I raised a complaint the next day, no one responded, when I chased up still nothing, so I finally called several days later and was informed they were busy. Take the money and ignore the customer.. Sounds like they knew about the shelving, so unsure why this was not fixed already along with the poor paint work. I was informed in the call, they felt if they refunded me or provided a discount I would not give a good review anyway - who does business like that. Isn't it about good customer service first and foremost. I wasn't even going to leave a review, but given how disappointing this is, I have. This property doesn't meet the standards of 4* on this site, Breakfast is not available, even though this is listed. After using Hotels.com for over 8 years, this has to be the worst service I have received, where someone cannot even be bothered to contact you when you message.
