The owner Tiffani is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She's an amazing cook as well. She shared her family recipes for breakfast and was very accommodating. I stayed in the Texas Special room which was in the main house with a balcony. The house has all the small town southern charm you'd expect.

We had a charming experience staying at The Katy House. Tiffany made us feel so welcome and at home and the breakfast was fresh and delicious - we really enjoyed the blueberry pancakes which were a family recipe! We loved the atmosphere of Smithsville and would recommend this as a relaxing and memorable place to visit. The owners B&B were attentive, professional, and personable. Breakfast was excellent, comparable to any hotel or restaurant that I have had experience with. I have traveled a good deal in my life, in both the States and Europe, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a different experience. We stayed in the Katy Tower. Words can not express how beautiful the room was in person. The attention to detail was superb, the sheets were incredibly soft, and the bed was comfortable!
