This is a remodeled motel that had an excellent modern update. It is right across from the lake with restaurants in walking distance. The hikes to find the trolls are a fun get away. We highly recommended this property.

Great find! Enjoyed our stay - cozy room with a wonderful view of the Lake. Walkable to bars and restaurants along the lake. Minor little inconveniences - no coffee pods for the coffee maker so had to run to the nearest grocery store but wasn’t too far. Loved the Aveda products in the bathroom but shower soap and body lotion were empty. Would love to return again and would recommend!

Location, Location, Location. This property has live music and a brewery to the left, A pizza and Mexican restaurant to the right and a beach on a clean lake across the street. Room was a little small but full of features with an oven, microwave and nice sized fridge. Will be back.

It was the cutest modern motel. My husband and I last-minute planned a getaway to Detroit Lakes for our anniversary. I found Beachfront Haven on the “Visit Detroit Lakes” website in places to stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, affordable, and we felt safe in the area. It is across the street from the lake, surrounded by amazing restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

The new owners have done a fantastic job at turning a once rundown motel in to the cutest boutique-style property! The updates are gorgeous and you just cannot beat the location. We were able to be in all the action, but it’s set back from the sidewalk enough and with a yard that you still have space and privacy. 10/10, Will definitely be back next year!
