These people are crooks! We were in LA for the same event the year before and had a positive experience with this motel then, so we rebooked this year. This time though, I booked my stay incorrectly (one bed for three people, 100% my bad), but when I got there I learned about error. They said there was nothing they could do to help me (no portable bed; no other rooms available) and insisted the best solution was for me to find somewhere else to stay and they would cancel my reservation. I did find somewhere else to stay, but they did not “cancel” my stay. They kept my money, told Hotels.com they weren’t giving it back, and possibly were able to rent out my room as well, because I didn’t follow the cancellation policy correctly (even though they told me to go elsewhere). Book with them at your own risk. You might have a pleasant stay or you might be out $500 on their word.
