Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast

By far the best hotel on a week long tour of Hampshire/Dorset/Devon. We stayed in a variety of places (including a huge and quite fabulous High-Victorian mansion in the New Forest) but The Dower House was far and away the nicest hotel in every way.
