The location was good, free parking but unfortunately, it was full on the day, so had to park at a near by long stay. The staff were nice and friendly as always. The room needed a little bit of an update and maintenance for the price (£100 a night)

Perfect location as we were going to the Gateshouse Theatre, which was just a few minutes walk. We did eat there and the food was nice. The room was ideal for the evening, the only negative was we couldn't turn the radiator off or down. Staff throughout were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

Very welcoming manager and staff, fantastic dinner options that were extremely good value for money and a very handy location to get to the Staffordshire Showground. The only thing that was a bit odd was that, while our room was freshened up every day, the sink didn't get cleaned at all. My husband is a bit of a messy shaver and I am always very happy not to have to deal with the aftermath when staying in a hotel, so I was very surprised to find that part of the bathroom still untouched both days. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and will be back!
