I had a great stay at the Tides. The room was large and clean, the wifi was speedy, and there was plenty of parking. The Tides is just a few steps to the beach, and a 10 min walk to town, super convenient. The staff were friendly (especially Brenda and the gentlemen that work the grounds!), however the afternoon receptionist could use an upgrad in customer service courses. All in all, I would stay here again.

Me and my fiance were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and the hospitality that we received by the manager Brenda. It was the best we have received from the many hotels we have been to. She went above and beyond to assist us when she did not have to. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy our vacation and we decided to stay another night. Thank you Brenda

Beautiful well equipped rooms…pool…100 steps to the secluded (not crowded beach). Very quiet boutique building. Ground floor units are the way to go for ease to pool/beach. Downtown Grace Bay is a 5 minute bike ride…great location.

Spacious and clean room/apt, the bed was comfy. I had a room on the first flloor, the pool view at night was treat. The front desk clerk was a amazing she was so gracious (I’m terrible w/names) This place doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but if a 1bdrm apt in a quiet convenient location this is your place! I do intend to stay again.

The hotel is perfect! They have lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach on grace bay. The rooms are spacious, and clean. It is very close to restaurants and long bay area. The service was impeccable! I will be coming back here, and will definitely recommend this to friends and family.

The staff were friendly, but how hotel is run is questionable. Never saw one staff member clean the pool of leaves in the 3 nights we stayed. Nothing in kitchen to cook in oven, pans were scratched to hell no coating left, no cloth to dry dishes, no cheese grater, no glasses in bathroom, shower glass is half opened no sealing causing mold on drywall. Bbq is an old thermos that’s broken doesn’t work, a couple were trapped in elevator woke up to them screaming and ran for help for them. Front desk people are nice but not a professional set up. Place has good bones but needs some help to bring it up to speed. It’s only 3-4 years old which is surprising. They have a patch of land I guess they were planning to build but plans fell though maybe make a pickle ball court. The pool area doesn’t have anything around it. Maybe set up a water station. I could go on. Needs some help, could be good if someone got it accross properly over the line
