Room was perfectly clean and spacious. The bathroom was somewhat cramped but serviceable. The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable. There were no noise problems, staff are friendly and the location is located near the station and the main street. There is also a public onsen bath which I did not experience.

Hotel that's literally facing the train station, despite that it's not noisy. There aren't a great deal of trains that go through the area. Some shops relatively close by, though a good 10 mins walk to where the action is. Hotel itself is nice and clean and friendly staff. I had a solo couple nights stay at the hotel. The bed and pillow provided are comfortable enough. As with most business hotels, there isn't a whole lot of room to spread out, but the room is nonetheless clean and functional. Likewise, the bathroom is small, but the second floor bath house is of a decent size and comfortable. The hotel is located close to the Takayama JR Station and the bus terminal, which makes it a decent base for trips to the surrounding areas like Shirakawa-go and Oku Hida. It is also not too far of a walk from restaurants, shops and the old town of Takayama.
