Das Zimmer war ok-wobei der Neubau einfach schöner ist. Wellness ist leider nur bis 21Uhr geöffnet und für Menschen die Arbeiten leider kaum nutzbar ( nicht ausreichend Habdtücher in der Sauna-das habe ich auch bei den letzten Aufenthalten festgestellt). Ansonsten sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. ALLERDINGS LÄSST DAS FRRÜHSTÜCK ZU WÜNSCHE ÜBRIG WAS IN DER VERGANGENHEIT NIE SO WAR. Das ist sehr schade,kaum Auswahl und nicht modern😞😞😞 Das Hotel ist trotz allem zu empfehlen aber Frühstück woanders wirklich wesentlich besser für den Preis.

Ok aber für das was man bekommt zu teuer

Insgesamt ein schöner Ort.Jedoch hatte ich ein Zimmer was alles andere als Clean war.Schimmel in der Dusche (Fugen/Tür). Der Kopfteil des Bettes war fleckig und einfach wacklig. Frühstück ist ok aber könnte auch mal verändert werden. Ansonsten nettes Personal. Keine Handtücher in der Saune,erst nach Nachfragen bekam ich dann eines. Insgesamt zu teuer für das was man bekommt.

Gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, gutes und preiswertes Restaurant. Aber unser Doppelzimmer war eigentlich kein richtiges Doppelzimmer. Sehr klein, zumal in ihm auch das Waschbecken untergebracht war, für das in der eigentlichen Nasszelle (Dusche und WC) kein Platz war.

We enjoyed our time at this comfortable hotel, situated in a quiet area, yet located close enough to the excitement of the lake. The food at the restaurant is good, both for breakfast and dinner, and you can even catch a glimpse of the lake from the patio. The wifi worked great at the restaurant, but we had no luck getting any connection in our rooms, a frustration in an otherwise nice stay.

Schönes Hotel mit guter Küche nahe Insel Mainau

wir haben den Aufenthalt im Hotel Volapük sehr genossen! Wir waren zwei Mal in der schönen Sauna, mieteten einmal Fahrräder direkt im Hotel. Es hat eine Tiefgarage, ist nahe an der Insel Mainau gelegen und als Hotelgast darf man gratis Bus fahren... Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer gut und das Frühstück lecker!

Found beds hard but this is personal and only one soft pillow with no extra ones stored in wardrobe like most Hotels! On mentioning it on check out we could have asked at the restaurant for extra pillows but as reception was closed up with shutters when we returned that evening we didn’t know this!
