We had a very pleasant two day stay at The Blacksmiths Arms. The staff were friendly and kind and we had some delicious food, particularly the breakfasts which were delicious and very large plates full.

A delightful village Inn

2 night family stay. We were warmly greeted and shown to our comfortable accommodation. There was a wide choice on the menu for evening meals and the food was plentiful and tasty. The staff were friendly efficient and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The Inn is set in a small quiet village with nice walks nearby
George, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The evening meal was acceptable; otherwise good
Colin, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The room was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom was functional. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. The location is excellent. The only area we would change is the dinner menu. The food was reasonably priced with an emphasis on deep fried. Some more healthy options would enhance the offering.
John, 2-night trip

Sorry no dogs.

Great country Hotel very helpful staff great rooms and shower facility. Food excellent quality and value. As a dog owner No dogs allowed would restrict my staying out with business trip. However will return without my dogs.
