The staff were wonderful, the restaurant was convenient and the food was good. The bathroom of the room I stayed in had cracks in the walls and a sloping floor from water damage, so it could use some serious maintenance. In spite of the obvious structural damage, you could tell there was good effort at cleaning, so it felt comfortable enough.

Property is pretty rough but bed seemed clean and it served the purpose. Had booked a room with two double beds, but only had one. No staff on-site to assist No deadbolt on room doors. Light switch didn’t turn on any lights. There was a half-bottle of soft soap laying on its side in bathroom. I was glad I had my own soap to shower with. Lots of dead insects in bathroom and plastered on the ceiling. Nothing to sit on in the room - no chairs. Shower wasn’t working properly - a dribble of water with the majority gushing out through the faucet. Roughest place we have ever stayed. Fridge wasn’t very clean.

Decent place to stay on Hwy 17, rooms did look bigger in the pictures, but decently sized. Rooms are not a/c , summer days can be a bit hot, Fans are provided in the rooms, cools down fairly well overnight.

Just enjoyed the perfect overnight stay and this great motel and diner. The restaurant is cute, very clean and provides super delicious meals, all supported by friendly efficient service. Definitely take the excellent breakfast before starting the day. The bed was extremely comfortable with clean, crisp cotton sheets for a good nights sleep. The shower was also very good. All very reasonably priced. A big thanks to John for looking after us so well. Highly recommended

We were happy to have a clean place to stay but due to being very early in the season there was no restaurant as indicated, it was closed! Water took a very long time to warm up. The room was ready for us as stated. Key was where it was supposed to be. No chair to sit on inside or outside.

No one was on site when we arrived. Gave us an unacceptable room. Restaurant on site was closed. Complained about Hotel.com. Said he didn’t have time to confirm with Hotels.com, and we wouldn’t be charged because he couldn’t accommodate us. Still checking on that.
