pension chaleureuse au coeur de Lisbonne

La pension Aljubarrota est un lieu que je recommande vivement. Elle est très bien située, en plein centre de Lisbonne et proche de tous les moyens de transport en commun. Elle possède en plus de nombreux atouts: cuisine mise à disposition avec thé,café et fruits à volonté, balcon attenant au salon commun, les chambres avec salle de bain commune disposent d'un lavabo et les sanitaires sont très fonctionnels.L'endroit est également très calme et le personnel est très agréable.

受付が9:00-20:00しか開いていないため、深夜着の場合には前日に教えられるパスコードで入り口を開ける段取りになっていたが、入口に看板も電気もなくどこが入り口か全くわからなかった。エレベーターはなく中も電気が少なく、お化け屋敷のような暗い階段を荷物を持って４Fまであがらなければならない。部屋には暖房がなく寒くて酷かった。このような状態にもかかわらず１泊8,000円もするのは全く納得いかなかった。受付がいる場合の対応は悪くはなかったが、このホテルには絶対に宿泊したくない。

I imagine this to have been a very typical old-style Portuguese property where you will have tiles on walls and a sink in your room. But the property was very clean and I slept really well at night. Plus it is in the very middle of Baxia, and you cannot stay at a more interesting place while in Lisbon!

Excellent location, friendly staff

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The kitchen, Salas, wc shower and room are well maintained and spotless :-) however there's no AC. Prepare for cardio exercise as it is located on the 4th floor and no elevator. Had a nice stay here :-)

Pas luxueux mais agréable et bien situé

Petite chambre pas luxueuse du tout mais propre et agréable le matin avec une porte fenêtre donnant sur un petit balcon et laissant entrer le soleil. Excellent emplacement, très central, très commode pour visiter tous les quartiers de la ville. Minuscule cabinet de toilette avec douche et WC. Quatrième étage lumineux et aéré... mais sans ascenseur !

Charming guesthouse in the heart of Lisbon

I had a comfortable 3-night guesthouse stay that felt cosy like visiting grandma's house back in time. The reception and service was friendly and the Portuguese tiling and furnishings full of character. Best I loved the central location for walking around the beautiful old town, the main shopping streets lined with restaurants and to the waterfront. The city views from the balconies are very pretty and the location is super quiet because there is no vehicular traffic below. My single room was small with a sink (shared toilet and shower in hallway), and a cooling fan, heater and extra blankets that I didn't need in July. A basic kitchen (fridge, microwave) and sitting room with tv are shared, and free tea/coffee with biscuits are provided. The free wifi worked well and there were several outlets in the room for charging devices. I would recommend asking for a room with a balcony and bringing light luggage only, as the guesthouse is on the 4th floor and there is no lift in the building.

위치는 좋습니다. 대신 밤에 시끄러울 수 있습니다. 화장실과 샤워부스가 방에 같이 있는 건 무척 편하고 만족스러웠지만 전반적으로 시설이 오래되어 냄새가 났습니다. 더러운 게 아니라 낡아서 나는 냄새였어요. 침대 매트리스도 무척 부실하고요.

Clean, cheap and central

I stayed 2 nights in the Pensao Aljubarrota and it suited my needs perfectly, I do hope to stay there again in the future, it might not suit everyone's tastes as it is rather old fashioned, the stairs are very steep and it's a long climb to the 4th floor and there are no TV's in the rooms, but it is very clean, and has a very handy kitchen where guests can cook their own meals, the location is very central and only a short walk from trams, metro, Rossio railway station etc., there are lot's of places to eat nearby and there is a McDonnalds a short walk away with free wifi. This hotel is very reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly and a pleasure to deal with, to sum up the rooms are basic, but it is clean, the location is central and the staff are brilliant. Déconseille pour les un peu âgés

Les chambres au 4 étage sans ascenseur. L ascenseur mentionne mais pas l étage. Pour les tourists un peut plus âgés avec les valises lourder c est terrible monter. Non acceptable. Les chambres sont vieilles et on sente ça partout malgré que c est propre. C est déconseille se,on moi, je suis désolé mais il faut être objectif.

Fourth Floor, and Worth the Walk

This hotel was almost like coming home. Yes; the room was small, but we don't need much. And the balcony french windows open on to one of the main shopping streets in the old part of downtown Lisbon. We spoke agreeably every day with the friendly staff here who explained, among other things, that no; I didn't break the french door . . . the way you turn the handle determines whether it's a door to the balcony or a tilt-in window for ventilation. The kitchen is open 24/7. Everything we needed was there . . . fresh fruit, dishes, cookware. Grocery stores are everywhere within a block or two, and we even found refrigerated pasteurized milk (as opposed to packaged sterilized) within three block. We're within half a dozen blocks of the oldest operating bookstore in the world, the Metro, even a railway station. This place is great. The in-suite toilet is a little cramped, but it's no worse than on an airliner. We are both happy campers. There's no elevator, and seventy-four steps is a workout, but I'm getting trimmer, and we walk everywhere anyway. If this apartment were in our price range, we'd seriously think about buying it to live in. Seriously. This place is great. Oh, and street entertainment and restaurants are EVERYWHERE. Wifi works perfectly.

The place has a little worn retro touch over it which is charming in its own way, the place is in general kept pleasantly clean. Location is perfect. Luis was so friendly and helpful. I saw some bad comments regarding shower and wifi but it’s updated! I had hot shower and WiFi worked fine in the room too. I would definitely recommend and will come back again!
