WARNING - STAY AWAY!!! Avoid Palmiye Hotel Suites at all costs. This was the most stressful and horrifying hotel experience of my life-a complete 5-nt nightmare in Istanbul. The disaster started at 2:30 AM when we arrived and discovered there was NO signs anywhere for “Palmiye Hotel Suites.” The address led to what looked like a random restaurant, and we spent over 2 hours dragging luggage through unfamiliar streets, taking taxis back and forth and wasting over $150 trying to find a hotel that seemed not to exist. Exhausted and overwhelmed, even strangers from nearby hotels tried helping us before we finally discovered the “hotel” was hidden inside a closed restaurant. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The Family suite is falsely advertised. There was no hot water during the day or evening, meaning cold showers every night. The room supposedly accommodated 3 adults, but the 2nd bed was a tiny race-car child’s bed barely a foot off the floor, completely unacceptable for an adult. The sheets were dirty, the fridge did not work, the sink leaked across the floor, mould everywhere, the hower flooded the bathroom. The toilet barely functioned and had to be manually flushed by pouring water into it ourselves just like camping! No cleaning service during our stay and no balcony to air out the smoky room as advertised. Don't expect to sleep before 4 am as you're right door to a Irish Pub. Can't believe this property is allowed on a major booking platform. It's FAKE and a big SCAM!
