Rooms are spread out through a sprawling building. Lots of long corridors and up and down stairs. Having said that, the rooms are nice, bed comfy, and clean. Breakfast was also good, but not exceptional.

Best steak I've had for a long time in the restaurant, although their prices have gone up quite a lot since I was last there 6 months ago. The trip we had was great, the hotel had beautiful grounds and magnificent rooms. What an idyllic location to sit with your loved one and I could not complement the food or the restaurant any more. Staff were helpful and could not do enough to help. Would absolutely visit again.

We stayed for a last minute break with our dog. The room was spacious and clean. A lovely big bathroom. We had drinks in the bar at night and a nice breakfast the next morning. We really enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, made a fuss of our dog and made us feel more than welcome.
