The room was large, with good amenities (mini fridge, microwave, safe, “kitchenette” area), and relatively clean (the corners weren’t vacuumed well, but no big deal).
Our main complaint was the smell. The room smelled of stale smoke (even though it was clearly a non-smoking room), and strong air freshener/cleaner. The window was open upon our arrival, but we needed to close it because people started smoking outside (we were on the first floor).
Another issue was the noise (someone’s loud snoring and people talking carried into our room around 3 am and continued all morning). Not exactly the hotel’s fault though.
The staff, and other guests, were all incredibly nice and maybe we should have asked for a room change. However, the hallway also smelled strongly of air freshener (and marijuana at times) so we didn’t think it would make a difference.
Overall not a horrible stay, but if you’re sensitive to smells this may not be a place for you.
