Health & safety hazard – avoid
Fort Beach Residence is completely unacceptable and poses a serious health and safety risk. On arrival, no basic amenities were provided (no toilet paper, towels, soap, or drinking water). Communication with staff was extremely difficult despite English being advertised.
The room was filthy: dirty and stained bed linen and towels (I had to use my own), dust everywhere, ants on the walls, and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time—dirt visibly ran down the tiles when the shower was turned on. A broken mosquito net led to insect bites.
Facilities did not match the listing: no Wi-Fi, faulty toilet, no hot water during the day, and curtains that didn’t close properly. Noise continued throughout the night, and on multiple occasions people attempted to enter my locked room without knocking, which was alarming.
This property should not be operating as guest accommodation in its current condition. I do not recommend staying here
