Amazing how space was utilised in such a small room, we were fine for a night but with two suitcases it was a tight squeeze & one night was enough. Self serve breakfast was great. Loads of character.

A lovely place to stay, the staff are so welcoming, clean rooms and the best bit, the food is gorgeous. breakfast is great, included with your stay and for an additional charge a cooked breakfast menu on the weekends, which was delicious. highly recommend.

The eight bells has been completely redecorated and beautifully so, a true country Inn. Our room was clean, with great duvet and pillows, bathroom was immaculate. The staff and hospitality were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble, after three nights and four days we knew them all by name and they knew ours! Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat!!

Rooms don’t seem to get refreshed these days and we had to ask for clean towels or leave used ones outside the door. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options although it would have been good to have cooked as well.

Room was TINY. Smelt of toilets and woken by multiple church bells at 5 am. No staff at breakfast time. Cereal and toast. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money.
