We really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff providing us with directions for walking around, dinner reservations, phone calls and ordering a taxi. The evening wine and canapés were a nice touch.

8/10 Very good

My friend and I had a lovely time at Queenstown House. The place is clean and well decorated, has free parking, and is very close to the city centre. Breakfast was amazing (best omelet ever) and staff was super friendly and helpful. The place felt safe and it was quiet. The only improvement would be better heating in the bathroom, but everything was great, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

The admin staff (Maryanne) was immediately present and very warm and welcoming when my partner and I first entered the boutique BnB. The owners Paul and Sam were very friendly and helpful especially with our requests for our take-away breakfasts (healthy and tasty 😊) on the days that we planned our early morning tours. Thank you also for sharing general information, facilitating booking procedures and also for enabling our slightly late checkout during our last day at the property. The room was very tidy and bathroom clean with adequate toiletries. My choice room with the King-sized bed has an excellent panoramic view of the town area, lakeside and surrounding mountains. The breakfast was very tasty and it was tended by two charming staff namely Sylia (from Estonia) and Denisa (from Mexico). Thank you girls for enhancing our breakfast experience with your warmth, friendliness and very good service. I would like to record a special thanks to Maryanne (property administrator) for ensuring that all our tour booking and taxi reservations details were taken care of; especially for making my partner and I feel homely with your friendly conversation and lovely smile. Thanks once again to Paul, Sam, Maryanne, Sylia and Denisa for helping to ensure our stay in Queenstown to be both pleasing and memorable.

Queenstown House was an amazing Bed and Breakfast. Great spot with beautiful views! The staff was amazing, friendly, very warm, and very welcoming. Everywhere was very walkable and accessible. Quiet from hustle and bustle from town but close enough to walk to town. My fiancé and I can’t wait to have our honeymoon there and bring our family to stay after some time to ourselves. I’ll recommend this lovely B&B to anyone and everyone!
My partner and I from the deck of our room. Gorgeous view!

Loved this place and the staff! So welcoming, so charming, such a completely great experience! Our room was lovely and spacious, and it was stocked with a few items in the fridge upon our arrival. The breakfast was my favorite, with a surprisingly deep menu for such a small B&B. The food was excellent. Would totally recommend this to others!

I had an excellent stay at Queenstown house. From the outstanding customer service, cleanliness, generous breakfast selection and peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in the admiral room and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and I had a nice view of the lake. Location is ideal- mins walk to-from town. While the walk from town back has a slight uphill walk, it’s manageable and well worth it for the convenience and peaceful atmosphere. A perfect spot for those looking for comfort and easy access to town without needing a car.

Warm welcome by staff, the room had a view over the lake, good choice for breakfast, we attended the free wine tasting with some nibbles early 1 evening that helped us meet other guests. Steep walk down to Queenstown centre, there was some street noise on the Saturday night as people come to stay for the weekend.

Fantastic place to stay

We were greeted by one of our hosts who was very friendly. She gave us lots of information, about our stay. We also met one of our other hosts and family pets. Our room was lovely, with added touches and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We also happened to be there when an informal wine tasting was held, an opportunity to get to chat to our fellow guests. Nothing seemed too much trouble, hosts were very helpful and friendly and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.
