We spent 12 days here in a self contained cabin and had a great time. The park is old and the current owners are slowly updating the facilities but don't let that deter you, it even has a heated swimming pool! The owners are really friendly and so helpful and the cabin was really clean. Just a short drive to Burnie, with a beach boardwalk across the road it's in a great position. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a place to sleep and my children liked the pool. Alot of shortcuts with the cleaning. Not very clean. Description when booked said air conditioning. There was no air conditioning. A nearby rooster kept waking us at 4am! Guy in office friendly and chatty.

Great base

This was a great facility to base ourselves for our trip out to Stanley, and exploring Burnie. It was an older accomodation, but clean and the owners are working on renovating them. The staff were friendly and were informative of the area and what to go and do and where to eat. The beds were comfy, it had everything we needed for our stay. It is on Bass highway, so it is noisy. It is directly opposite the ocean, with a brilliant walkway that you can see the penguins from.

This is a pet friendly cabin which makes bringing our dog with us possible. Managers are friendly and helpful. Cabins have all necessary equpment for a pleasant stay. Cheaper than most others with good value for our personal requirements.

We were very disappointed to see the pool was completely empty and inoperable. The DVD player wasn’t working, the shower door couldn’t close which caused water flooding. There was a hole in the wall, the carpet felt sticky and unclean and there was a welcome mat inside that was completely drenched which we had to remove. The welcome booklet was ‘out of date’. The place was spacious and staff were lovely. A lot of work needs to be done to the property.

Very friendly staff. There are roosters next door, in something that looks like a petting zoo, but they didn't wake me up, so that was weird. We got to observe penguins at night on the beach opposite - amazing!

I always stay here in Burnie. Last time I stayed the shower head was broken and I couldn’t shower before I left. This time I bought my 5 year old daughter cabin 2 and some of the blinds are missing off the front door, it was really uncomfortable to be a mum with a little girl being unable to close the curtains and have privacy.
