The Tower Plaza

The Tower Plaza Hotel in Dubai is really lovely hotel. It has the best location with the metro rail situated on the door step. The rooms are clean and newly renovated. The rooms are also very spacious. Everybody working here is kind and hospitable. I have to give a special mention to Aicha at the front desk. She is really top class. So kind and friendly and she provided me and my family with excellent service. Its because of people like her that hotels like The Tower plaza are 5 star. Thank you Aicha. Just 1 small issue. Housekeeping needs to improve. There were times i had no towels no water no tissue paper. However everything was great.

I rarely leave reviews, but this was worth warning others. The location is decent but not amazing, but that’s where the positives end. The hotel is dated, poorly maintained, and extremely noisy. Room was unclean, smelled off, and clearly not refreshed properly before our arrival. Towels were worn thin, and the bathroom was far from what you’d expect in a hotel at this price. MOLD and MILDEW everywhere. Absolutely disgusting and I got sick off it. The staff was unhelpful and disengaged, and even basic requests were met with shrugs. We had issues with AC, and nothing was done to address it despite multiple complaints. Yahya the duty manager specifically was the worst service I’ve seen at a hotel. The hotel may look fine in pictures, but reality doesn’t match. Avoid if you want a relaxing or even passable stay. Spend your money elsewhere.
