8/10 Very good

The hotel is really lovely. Better than the photos. Our room was fine everything you could need. The grounds are beautiful. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was ok. It was very busy at 8.30 and our table was not big enough for plates and tea pots and cups. The lift does need attention its only two floors and the wait was so long that we used the stairs with dodgy knees! would recommend this hotel.

6/10 Good

Room was small and very hot, clean, but uncomfortable. Breakfast was good, dinner expensive, for what you got, service was slow. Staff were friendly.

We stayed 2 nights to visit Ripon and the surrounding area. This hotel is FANTASTIC! . 5 mins walk from Ripon market square. Our stay could not have been better. The staff were really friendly but professional and the hotel decor is up to very high standard We had the amazing breakfast and ate there one evening and it was lovely and very reasonable food and wine prices. 10/10

Lovely staff greeted us on arrival at The Ripon Inn reception. The hotel was very nicely furnished and decorated, clean and inviting. The grounds outside were lovely, the gardens were well kept and tidy with ample seating inside and out. Our double room was exceptionally clean and had all the facilities we needed - maybe a small fridge would be a good addition just so we could store some cold water etc. Breakfast in the morning was self service buffet. There was enough variety of everything to choose from and it was all hot/cold as intended. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again should we be in the area.

Very clean, all the staff were friendly even though it was very busy in the build up to new year. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Chose it mainly cos it was dog friendly but would certainty go back without the dogs, is a short walk into Ripon centre and there looked to be lots of nice bars and restaurants.

10/10 Exceptional

Had a one night stay whilst visiting friends near Ripon. The hotel was easy to find and check-in was very straightforward. Our room was very well presented and modern. Very comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee with complementary biscuits. Bathroom was clean, ample towels and hand-wash, conditioner and shower gels were higher-end than you would expect. Room overlooked the sizable gardens which were well kept. Evening meal was excellent from a good choice of dishes. Good choice of beers too. I must compliment the staff who were always cheerful and efficient, from the cleaning ladies in the rooms to the bar and waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble which was noticeable and such a pleasant change from other hotels we have visited. The decor was also excellent. Made the stay feel very comfortable and relaxing. Well done to all - we will be more than happy to come back.
